Exposed Aggregate Concrete Pour at J&J WHQ
Like a well-oiled machine, the Nicholson team continues to make progress at the J&J World Headquarters in New Brunswick, NJ. Right now, we are in the process of pouring the exposed aggregate concrete for the new 1,400ft long plaza walkway. Using methodically calculated procedures, our team can pour up to 400 feet of aggregate per day.
After pouring, a special mix of washed pea gravel is troweled in to provide the desired exposed aggregate appearance and a special protective sealant is applied.
Other design enhancements to the 15.4-acre campus include new paver walkways, an employee recreational space, bocce ball court, and outdoor café.
