Nicholson Corporation was founded in 1997 by Cynthia and Keith Nicholson. We received our WBE & MBE certification in 2004, and we take great pride in this distinction and the commitment to our core values. Not only does our company have distinguished certifications in New Jersey, but also in New York City and Philadelphia. As the Nicholson Corporation continues to grow, so do our operations. We are currently in the process of relocating to a new 50,000 SF facility in Whitehouse Station, NJ. The tooling, equipment and capabilities of our in-house millwork division have increased within our dedicated 20,000 SF fabrication shop.
At Nicholson we recognize how critical and revolutionary construction technology is, and we find ways to integrate it across our job sites. We have the capability to integrate surveying, imaging, and high speed 3D scanning to our projects. The Trimble Scanning Total Station gives us the versatility to collect accurate job site data. Our experienced engineers use AGTEK Earthwork 4D software to compute cut/fill volumes, view analysis alongside pricing, create accurate bids, and plan jobs efficiently.
Nicholson Corporation has always focused on producing the very best results for our customers. We strongly believe the principles of Lean Construction bring greater value to our customers so we seek to apply them at every level. Recently, eight of the Nicholson team members participated in a Lean training course and received their Lean Practitioner certification from Array Architects. The slideshow below highlights how our team used Lean practices to improve the efficiency of our in-house millwork operations.
